Some give your tool a dofollow link and show it to their audience. Others only link to you if you add their badge to your site, or add you to a page few people visit. - 292 of the 416 sites here list AI tools for free, though many also sell a featured spot. 130 of the free ones give a dofollow link without asking you to link back. The strongest of those that accept most submissions: Official MCP Registry (DR 91), Laravel News (DR 84), Network World (DR 84), Changelog (DR 79), and Starter Story (DR 76).
- Do AI directories help SEO?
- A dofollow link from a site Google trusts helps a new site get found and adds a little authority. But 83 of these only list you, or only make their link dofollow, if you link back to them. Those link swaps raise the site's Domain Rating, and Google likely ignores them, so a high DR overstates what their link is worth to you.
- Which AI directories send visitors?
- 236 of them show new tools to their audience: on their homepage, in a newsletter or on social media. 109 only add you to a listing page. The traffic bars come from Similarweb's global ranking; a site Similarweb doesn't rank at all gets very few visitors.
