inventlist.com

InventList is a directory for all kinds of startups, including developer tools, mobile apps, and SaaS. We went through its submission pages in October 2026: what it costs, the link you get, who gets in and how to submit.

How much does InventList cost?

Listing on InventList is free, as long as you link back to them from your site, with paid options from $15.

The free listing requires the InventList badge to be embedded on the product website and detected; the submit page says the listing cannot be taken without it and is reviewed once the badge is up. InventList says the badge can be removed after review. The sponsor page says a detected badge makes a listing eligible for trending, newsletter consideration, and search indexing, subject to content guidelines. A $15 one-off alternative for products that cannot embed the badge is described but is not being charged yet.

Extras they sell

Reach eligibility without badge $15 one-time
A proposed alternative for client websites or app-store-only products. It provides the same eligibility described for badge reach, without guaranteed rankings or editorial placement; the site says it is not charging for this option yet.
Homepage Feature $50/week
Sponsored homepage placement for 7 days, analytics, and three weekly slots. The sponsor page says placement appears when the feed has enough fresh releases, and the 7-day period counts only days when the sponsor is displayed.
Newsletter Feature $75/issue
Featured placement in the weekly What Shipped email, a custom blurb and CTA, and post-send analytics. One sponsor per issue.
Category Sponsor $30/week
Sponsored top placement on a product category page for seven days.

Does InventList give a dofollow backlink?

InventList links to your site with a nofollow link, which asks Google not to count it.

Its Ahrefs Domain Rating is 15. Part of that comes from sites that link back to it in exchange for a listing, so it likely overstates what its link is worth to you (why).

Who gets into InventList, and how fast?

Submissions are reviewed first, and most products that fit get in.

You get a listing page, with little promotion.

For product listings, the submit page says “Reviewed once your badge is up” but gives no duration. For sponsorship requests, the sponsor FAQ says InventList will review and reach out within 24 hours.

How much traffic does InventList get?

Similarweb doesn't rank inventlist.com, which usually means very few visitors.

What InventList says about its audience: Submit page claims 271,017 visits in the last 30 days and Domain Rating 26 (Ahrefs, Oct 2026). Sponsor page claims 4,988 newsletter subscribers, 4,670 registered makers, and 2,031 products listed; it also cites an 11.3% open rate on the last issue. The FAQ separately says “980+ subscribers,” which conflicts with the newer sponsor-page figure.

How do you submit to InventList?

You submit to InventList through a form, after creating an account. Sign-up options: Google, GitHub, and X.
