Free listings require a visible Uno Directory badge/backlink and instant backlink verification. The how-to page says to place it on the homepage; the FAQ also allows other visible locations such as a footer, sidebar, or press page. The badge should remain for as long as the free listing is live. The site says the listing activates immediately after verification.
